Classical Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that aims to restore the body's natural ability to heal itself. It is based on the principles of osteopathy, which was founded by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still in the late 19th century. Classical Osteopathy emphasizes the importance of treating the whole person, rather than just the symptoms or disease.

During a session, the osteopath will use gentle manual techniques to manipulate the body's tissues, including muscles, joints, and fascia. By doing so, the osteopath aims to remove any blockages or restrictions that may be causing pain or limiting mobility. This can help to improve blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote overall healing.

One of the key benefits of Classical Osteopathy is its ability to address a wide range of conditions. It can be used to treat acute and chronic pain, as well as musculoskeletal injuries, digestive disorders, and respiratory issues. It is also effective in treating stress and anxiety, as it helps to promote relaxation and improve the body's ability to cope with stress.

Another benefit of Classical Osteopathy is that it is a non-invasive and drug-free therapy. It can be used alone or in combination with other treatments and is generally considered safe for people of all ages.

In addition to addressing specific health concerns, Classical Osteopathy can also help to improve overall health and well-being. Promoting balance and harmony within the body, can help to improve posture, increase energy levels, and enhance overall vitality.

Overall, Classical Osteopathy is a wholistic and effective form of manual therapy that can help people to achieve optimal health and well-being. Its gentle and non-invasive techniques make it a safe and accessible option for those seeking natural healthcare solutions.

Jenn Hart is a dedicated healthcare professional, accomplished athlete, and lifelong seeker of balance between body, mind, and spirit. With a deep passion for movement, healing, and human connection, she has built her career around helping others find strength, resilience, and well-being.

Jenn holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Community Rehabilitation Studies from the University of Calgary and later pursued a Master’s degree at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. She believes in treating the whole person—not just symptoms—and approaches healthcare with deep intuition, knowledge, and care. With a focus on restoring harmony in the body, her work is both technical and deeply personal, helping patients reconnect with themselves in ways that go beyond physical health.

Her journey as an athlete has shaped her understanding of movement and discipline. As a former Team Nova Scotia snowboarder, she competed in boarder cross and parallel giant slalom at the 2011 Canada Games. But her love for movement extends far beyond competition—it is her language, her meditation, her way of feeling at home in herself.

Whether she’s paddle boarding on quiet waters, hiking through the woods, flowing through a yoga sequence, or breathing deeply in stillness, Jenn finds the sacred in both movement and rest. She believes that healing isn’t just about the body—it’s about the stories we carry, the energy we hold, and the way we allow ourselves to soften and open.

Jenn is more than a practitioner—she is a guide, a listener, and a believer in the body’s innate ability to heal. Through osteopathy, movement, and deep connection, she helps others return to themselves, reminding them that wellness is not just about feeling good—it’s about feeling whole.
